LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln Public Schools school bus carrying children crashed into a Good Samaritan’s SUV in north Lincoln on Wednesday.
Lincoln Police said a woman suffered a medical emergency while driving down Adams Street around 12:39 p.m. This caused her to lose control of her white SUV, go down an embankment and crash into a trailer on Evans Lane.
Another woman driving a black Ford Explorer saw the crash from Evans Lane and stopped to assist. Police said while she was checking on the woman in the white SUV, a school bus crashed into her parked vehicle.
There was little to no damage to the bus or the parked SUV, and police did not cite the woman for parking her vehicle to help.
LPS confirmed that no students were injured in the collision.
