WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — A Border Patrol agent and another driver were injured Wednesday morning when their vehicles collided during a pursuit in Whatcom County.
The Washington State Patrol said the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Birch Bay-Lynden and Enterprise Roads. The Border Patrol agent was involved in an operation when the agent's vehicle collided with an unrelated vehicle at the four-way stop.
The suspect being pursued remains at large.
WSP declined to provide additional details about the operation, and said that the Department of Homeland Security and FBI are investigating.
Both drivers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. WSP is investigating the collision.
