REDMOND, Wash. — Mac & Jack’s Brewing Co., one of Washington’s most recognizable craft beer pioneers, will move its brewing operations from Redmond to Bremerton by the end of the year.

The brewery, known for its flagship African Amber, will share production space with Silver City Brewery, another longtime staple of the state’s craft beer scene. The move begins Wednesday.

In its announcement, Mac & Jack’s cited Sound Transit’s expansion into Redmond, claiming it will bring zoning changes that affect Mac & Jack’s longtime location in 2026.

Eastside light rail runs from south Bellevue to downtown Redmond with a stop at Marymoor Village, less than a mile from Mac & Jack’s address.
