COHASSET, Minn. (Northern News Now) -A woman has been charged with aiding an offender after escaped inmate Michael Hart was found hiding in a crawl space at a Cohasset residence following an extensive investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, according to court documents.

Hart, 40, escaped Sept. 23 from the Northeast Regional Corrections Center (NERCC) in St. Louis County, where he was being held on two counts of felony burglary, one misdemeanor domestic assault, and one fifth-degree assault charge, court records show. He was subsequently charged with felony escape from custody on Sept. 25, according to the complaint.
