FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fayetteville School Board has welcomed a new member.

The board held a special meeting on Wednesday night to select the person who will fill the vacant Zone 4 seat, previously held by Katrina Osborn, who gave up her seat to move out of state.

The board made a unanimous decision to select Justin Jones to fill the seat, who will serve for the remaining five months of the seat's term.

Board of Education President Tim Hudson said Jones was selected due to his experience in education and the community.
