After being closed for more than a year, the Route 20 bridge in North East, near the New York state border, is now open.
This bridge goes over Twenty Mile Creek in North East Township and is located between the intersection of Gulf Road and Gay Road.
The bridge was closed due to structural issues, and the closure caused lengthy detours.
This redesign cost over $9.6 million.
Before its closure in February of 2024, more than 2,500 vehicles crossed the bridge every day.
