OREGON, USA — Three Oregon immigration advocacy organizations filed a lawsuit Thursday against federal immigration agencies, alleging detained residents are being denied meaningful access to legal counsel before being transferred out of state, according to Innovation Law Lab.

Innovation Law Lab filed the lawsuit on behalf of CLEAR Clinic and Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Eugene, names defendants as DHS Secretary Kristi Noem , acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, ICE Seattle Field Office Director Cammilla Wamsley, acting CBP Commissioner Pete Flores, and the three federal agencies. U.S. District J
