The #4 Tennessee soccer team earned its 12th shutout of the season after a defensive battle against Florida to finish with a 0-0 draw at Regal Stadium on Thursday night.

Tennessee (11-1-3, 5-1-2) is now one away from its single-season shutout record of 13 after gaining its third tie of the season. The previous record was set back in 2021.

Thanks to an impressive defensive effort, the Lady Vols held Florida (6-5-4, 2-2-4) to only seven shots during the game, while goalkeeper Cayden Norris picked up two saves to earn 35 on the season.

Multiple Lady Vols created offensive opportunities Thursday, with Skylar Miller attempting five shots as Devin Davis pieced together three. Katie Runyon once again created a spark off the bench and provided three shots on goal for the Big Orange at the 15th,
