Two people were arrested after allegedly posting videos on social media where they were seen driving in "an incredible reckless manner" across the Bay Area, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday.
On April 5, the CHP said they began an investigation into a street racer posting videos on social media where the vehicle "swims" and "squeezes" through traffic at high speeds and in "an incredibly reckless manner."
Through the investigation, two vehicles were identified as being involved in numerous incidents across the Bay Area, the CHP said. A white Lexus sedan and a white BMW sedan were seen in multiple videos, allowing authorities to locate the owners, according to officials.
