A Malden woman was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill federal agents as they made an immigration arrest outside a Medford courthouse last month, federal officials said Thursday.

Bethany Abigail Terrill, 37, was charged with threatening a United States official and had an initial appearance in federal court in Boston on Thursday afternoon, Massachusetts US Attorney Leah B. Foley’s office said in a statement .

She was released following her appearance, court records show. An attorney representing her could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday.

Terrill must check in with a probation officer, submit to random alcohol and drug testing, and refrain from contact with any federal officers, according to court filings.
