LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Humidity has returned to Acadiana leading to summer weather once again. Temperatures today will rise fast, reaching the 80s by lunchtime and near 90 degrees this afternoon. Sun and clouds will mix with an isolated rain chance along the coast for the afternoon. Tonight, clouds will work their way through the area as temperatures settle near 70. Humidity will remain high.

Saturday begins with sun and clouds before storms develop during the afternoon hours. Most areas will miss out on the storms, but be prepared to bring outdoor activities indoors if the storms do find you.
