The family of a Robertsdale boy who inspired many is mourning the loss after he passed away on Thursday.
Branson Blevins, 11, was fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Italy. His mother, Nichole Blevins, shared a message of courage.
"We will spend the rest of our lives missing him, aching for him, and trying to live in a way that honors who he was. Our family will never be the same," Blevins said. "A piece of our hearts will always be with him. But we want the world to know his name, his story, and his light.
"So please, if you loved Branson, LIVE LIKE BRANSON," she continued. "Be brave. Be kind. Include everyone. Protect the ones you love. Laugh hard. Love harder. Chase life with everything you have. Never back down. Always leave people better than you found them."
