KENT, Wash. — An apartment fire in Kent that broke out early Friday morning has displaced 15 people.
A call came into 911 at around 12:30 a.m., reporting a fire at the Waterbrook Apartments.
The fire spread to six units at the complex. One was empty, but residents of five other units will not be able to return to their homes due to the damage.
The Red Cross is assisting.
The fire started on the second or third floor on the back side of the building, according to Puget Sound Fire. The cause is still being investigated.
Crews are still on the scene putting out hot spots. There were no reports of any injuries.
