OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Netflix has released “The Perfect Neighbor,” a documentary about the murder of Ajike “AJ” Owens , a mother of four killed by her neighbor, Susan Lorincz , in Ocala in 2023.

The documentary was released on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.

In September, TV20 TV20 aired a special report on the case featuring an exclusive interview with Lorincz from behind bars in the Correctional Institution in South Florida.

Lorincz was convicted in August 2024 of manslaughter and sentenced to 25 years in prison in November 2024.
