A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Terrell Hills woman last seen Thursday afternoon.

Terrell Hills Police are searching for 64-year-old Julie Straus, who was last seen at around 6:40 p.m. on the 200 block of Geneseo Road.

On Friday morning, Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows confirmed on Twitter/X that Julie is the wife of former Texas House Speaker Joe Straus. Joe Straus was the house speaker from 2009-2019.
