LA HABRA, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities released disturbing new details in a murder-suicide at a Korean barbecue restaurant in La Habra.
Investigators said 34-year-old Jonathan Wang shot and killed 45-year-old Jacqueline Medrano Tuesday night before turning the gun on himself.
The two had been in a previous romantic relationship.
Last month, a judge issued a protective order against Wang, prohibiting him from contacting or being within 100 feet of Medrano. It was in effect at the time of the shooting.
Long Beach police had arrested Wang on July 15 after responding to a domestic violence call, according to authorities. A criminal domestic violence case was filed by the Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office against Wang, alleging he willfully caused injury to his girlfriend, Jacqueline Med
