NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Fall Severe Weather Awareness Week couldn't have come at a more appreciate time when we have the chance to see severe weather this weekend.

Saturday is particularly highlighted for its MARGINAL RISK (LEVEL 1) for severe weather with the biggest threats being severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, hail and chance for tornadoes.

The Storm Prediction Center has Saturday down for a MARGINAL RISK for severe weather in our neck of the woods, but as of now it's just looking like a few isolated storms will pass through the area in the afternoon through the early evening hours.
