GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Grand Rapids Police and Fire Departments responded to a rollover crash on Wealthy Street Friday, Oct. 17.

The two-car crash on Wealthy Street, where it carries traffic over U.S. 131, occurred around 6:15 p.m.

Highway ramps were blocked for about an hour and 15 minutes as crews worked to free a driver from an overturned mid-size SUV, fire department officials said.

That driver was transported via ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash. More information about the driver’s condition was not available.

No other injuries were reported, officials said. Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating the crash.
