BEMIDJI — Comeback wins have been few and far between for the Bemidji State volleyball team in recent years. But Saturday was a new day.
The Beavers lost the first set against Minnesota Crookston 25-21. They rebounded to claim the next three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-20 to pick up their third NSIC win this season.
Lily Riese led the way in kills again with 21, followed by 12 from Grace Hoffard. Hoffard (four) and Karley Dunham (five) combined for nine blocks. Jada Wlodarczyk had 14 digs, and Kyle Struble had 13. Ava Boelter had nine. Madison Tripp had a team-high 32 assists, followed by 15 from Katie Brandl.
