COLUMBUS, Ohio — A southwest Ohio man and an Arkansas woman were named the champions of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon this year.
The event on Sunday brought a sold-out field of 15,000 participants to downtown Columbus and raised more than $1 million for Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
This is the fourth sellout since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Twenty-four Nationwide Children’s Hospital Marathon Mile Champions and their families were stationed along 24 miles. One mile, the “Remembrance Mile,” was dedicated to the angels of Nationwide Children’s who have already run their race.
