LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Metro community members braved the gloomy weather on Sunday to take part in the 2025 Louisville Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lynn Family Stadium.

Despite the weather, hundreds showed up to raise money, educate about the disease and help support each other, all while having a fun time.

This is the Alzheimer’s Association in Louisville’s biggest fundraising event of the year. The money raised will go toward care, support, education and research, with much of it utilized in the region.

“But the weather’s not that great today, but Alzheimer’s is a really tough disease,” said Alzheimer’s Association Chapter Executive Shannon White. “And people are here to get the care and support they need today. Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping, and neither are we.”
