BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The spirit of Halloween was in full swing for one fundraising event in Bangor, as families came out to trick or treat all while helping to support a local non-profit.

“Generations of families now have been coming to this, so it’s a great opportunity for families to come out,” says Andrew Lohman, marketing manager of UCP of Maine.

The UCP of Maine’s 23rd annual “Pumpkins in the Park” returned to the Anah Shriners on Broadway, marking another year filled with costumes, candy, and yes, a whole lot of pumpkins.

“The reason why its pumpkin in the park is because we give each booth 10 pumpkins, where they carve or paint or do whatever they want with them. Each booth is sponsored by a different local business. All the businesses are helping us out as a non-profit,” says
