SIKESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - Sikeston Department of Public Safety investigators say a juvenile has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 14-year-old Sikeston Junior High School Student.
Sgt. Tyler Rowe says the suspect was taken into custody on Friday, October 17. The juvenile suspect is charged with 2nd degree murder, armed criminal action, four counts of child endangerment, and other misdemeanor charges.
The shooting happened on the 400 block of East Gladys Street on October 16.
Sgt. Rowe says that due to the sensitive nature of the incident and the fact that it involves juveniles, more information cannot be released right now.
