A pedestrian was killed Sunday on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Rosemead.

The crash occurred at 5:55 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound freeway just west of Rosemead Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The CHP confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by one or more vehicles while on the freeway, but had no other immediate information.

The pedestrian was identified as 30-year-old Aric Verador Mesina according to the Medical Examiner’s office. His city of residence was not available.

The roadway was cleared at 9:11 a.m.
