Reform UK has suspended four county councillors after the leaking of a video showing a private Zoom meeting of senior party members.

The four, who represent divisions in Maidstone , Sevenoaks and Ashford, have had the whip removed “pending investigation, following evidence they brought the party into disrepute”.

They are Paul Thomas (Maidstone South), Oliver Bradshaw (Maidstone Central), Maxine Fothergill (Sevenoaks Rural North East) and Bill Barrett (Ashford Rural South).

Reform UK has given no further details for the suspensions, but is widely assumed to be connected to the leak.
