Joe Pasquale broke his silence on going undercover on Beat the Chasers and surprising his best mate, Bradley Walsh on air.

Beat the Chasers is a spin-off of hit ITV show The Chasers and hosted by Bradley Walsh. Contestants go up against the chasers in the hopes of winning a huge jackpot of money.

On Sunday (October 19), Darragh Ennis was absent from the series 7 finale, and was instead replaced by a masked chaser, known only as "The Maverick".

His identity remained hidden until the very end of the episode, and it was revealed that comedian Joe Pasquale was the man behind the mask.

With presenter Bradley Walsh left in shock that one of his closest friends was behind the disguise, Joe said: "Brad, it's been a real honour just sitting up here with the gang.
