LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The university calls it one of the most inspiring days of the school year. For the past decade, the University of Louisville has hosted a day of giving called Raise Some L, where the entire Cardinal community of students, alumni, faculty, staff, patients, fans and friends unite to donate money to support university life.
“We host this during homecoming week at UofL, which is one of the best weeks of the year,” said Alexis Allen, Director of Annual Giving for the university. “It is 1,798 minutes of us raising some L and fundraising for some of the areas on campus – every area on campus – that means the most to our alumni.”
