GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Change.org petition seeks to reinstate Green Bay East High School football coach Niko Sila, who was recently placed on administrative leave.

The school district confirmed with Action 2 News on Monday that Sila was placed on leave, but couldn’t provide further comment, citing it as a personnel matter.

The petition stated “recent circumstances” led to his removal.

The petition to reinstate Sila has received more than 1,300 signatures.
