YONCALLA, Ore. - An 18-year-old student is facing charges after allegedly bringing a gun to Yoncalla High School, authorities said.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the incident came to light after a video surfaced showing Taylor Larson with a firearm in a school bathroom. The video was reportedly recorded on Oct. 9 but wasn't reported until Thursday. Larson admitted to bringing the gun to school, claiming he lent it to a friend who recorded the video and shared it with other students. Deputies were informed by another student that Larson had brought the gun to school multiple times and even showed it off in the parking lot.
Larson is charged with possession of a weapon in a public building and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was arraigned on Friday and released fro
