State budget impasse threatens vital community services
Pennsylvania’s budget impasse is devastating nonprofits that serve our most vulnerable residents. As the Vice Chair of the Board of Outreach – Center for Community Resources, I’m witnessing firsthand how political gridlock is harming real people in our community.
Since July 1, we’ve received no state grant payments, including County contract funding that is also dependent on state funding.
