LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A project that will impact traffic in Louisville for multiple years, the I-65 corridor project, is already underway, but only in its beginning stages.

For several residents who it will impact, the project has raised more questions than answers. On Monday night, city and project leaders tried to clear some of those questions up.

“One of our goals is to minimize disruptions to businesses, to the community,” said Ed Green, chief operating officer for C2 Strategic Communications, the firm hired by KYTC to help with the project.

The project involves work on nine different bridges and will be ongoing until 2027.
