SALISBURY — “Just being kids” was the atmosphere at Happy’s Farm on Oct. 15 for the second annual Oktoberfest.
Located at 985 Parks Road in Salisbury, this Western-themed town, which was started by Rhonda Stirewalt Roseman in 2007, served as the host site to children from Smart Start Rowan, as well as children from the school system who were out of school for the day, said Roseman.
Also there for the special day were high schoolers who were volunteering, along with children who participate in the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC), a special program they do called Discovering Yourself Through Barnyard Adventures. This group,
