When Mary Lenord discovered mold in the house she was renting in Gastonia, she reported it to her landlord.

“The house that I was living in had mold in it. We reported it to them … They kept sending people out to check if we had mold. They knew we had mold, but they never sent anybody out to treat the mold,” she said. “We kept getting sick.”
