It is Day 21 of the federal government shutdown and funding for some major projects in Baltimore could be eliminated.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the White House are not releasing any details on the $11 billion worth of projects that might be suspended or even cancelled due to the shutdown. Baltimore has projects on that list, and the lack of specifics frustrates Maryland Rep. Johnny Olszewski.

“This administration is leading first with threats and then by edicts, then we learn details of those edicts following the announcements,” Olszewski said. “We believe some of these announcements are illegal, and certainly — if not illegal — wrong.”
