MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Three people are injured after being shot overnight in a Mesa neighborhood.

First responders were called to the reported shooting around 11 p.m. on Tuesday near University Drive and Lindsay Road .

Three people were found with gunshot injuries. Mesa Police said one victim is in stable but serious condition, and the other two have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said guns were found at the scene. Officers found one of the victims nearby after briefly running from the scene.

No suspect are outstanding in this shooting, police said.

Detectives are at the scene to investigate what led to this shooting. The investigation is not causing any major road closures.
