PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Light showers and isolated thunderstorms were impacting the Valley early Wednesday morning. There’s a chance for more light rain throughout the morning hours in the Valley. Sunshine is expected by the afternoon with a warmer than average high of 91 degrees.
An area of low pressure is moving onshore in Southern California. Ahead of this low pressure, moisture is streaming into Arizona, leading to showers and isolated thunderstorms. While any rain should by done by the early afternoon hours in the Valley, storm chances continue in the high country of the state today throughout the afternoon. By tomorrow, this low is set to push toward the Four Corners region and into Utah.
