Dixon residents under boil advisory following water main break

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY. (WEVV) — Water service has been restored for Dixon Waterworks customers after crews repaired a water main break on Tuesday.

Officials said the break occurred on Stegal Street and left much of the city without water. While service has resumed, a boil advisory is in effect until further notice.

City officials said testing will determine when the water is safe to drink.

For now, residents should boil their water before use.
