‘No Kings’ protestors gather in Kitty Hawk

Demonstrators gathered in Kitty Hawk at the ‘No Kings’ protest on Saturday, Oct. 18, one of more than 2,500 such events slated across the country. Participants lined both sides of 158, starting from S. Dogwood and moving toward Duck Woods Drive.

Aside from the Kitty Hawk site, another Dare County protest against President Donald Trump was slated for Avon. The event was organized by a coalition that included the Currituck and Dare County Democratic parties, the League of Women Voters of Dare County, the NENC Alliance for Change and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Outer Banks, among others.
