LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — An afternoon in Ransom Township saw Brenda Sacco overseeing a 2026 budget hearing.
It was one of the first orders of business for the new interim county commissioner, who was sworn in a few hours earlier inside the Lackawanna County Courthouse.

Sacco's appointment comes after Democrat Commissioner Matt McGloin stepped down earlier this year.
