RICE LAKE — One of the Northland’s most significant roadways will take center stage in a discussion that stands to shape future development in the region for years to come.
St. Louis County staff and representatives of one of Minnesota’s newest cities will share their evolving plans for Rice Lake Road during a public meeting from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Duluth’s North Star Academy, 3301 Technology Drive.
“It’s huge for us,” said Rice Lake Mayor Jayme Heim. “It’s the biggest project we, as a city, have seen, and it’s critical for our future.”
