Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor underwent a right elbow debridement procedure, the team announced on Wednesday.
Lindor is expected to be ready for spring training.
Debridement surgery removes damaged areas of a tendon. After the 2023 season, Lindor had bone spurs removed from the same elbow.
According to SNY , he had this procedure, which was a “minor cleanup”shortly after the season.
This year, Lindor hit .267 with a .811 OPS, 31 home runs and 31 stolen bases. He appeared in 160 games despite dealing with a fractured pinky toe and has missed just 13 games over the last three seasons.
