Victoria Police has charged a 32-year-old man after he allegedly stole a strange variety of products across the state over almost two weeks.
Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested and charged the man in Melton on Wednesday.
Police allege the man was behind a spree of thefts between August 8 and October 20.
The alleged stolen items included alcohol, meat, electrical appliances, baby formula and tools.
The thefts targeted stores in Burnside, Essendon, Maryborough, Epsom, Bendigo, Melton, Dandenong, Narre Warren, Bacchus Marsh, Armstrong Creek, Geelong and Norlane.
The Collingwood man faces multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated burglary and 26 counts of shop steal.
He is expected to appear before Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on November 5.
