Bristol police are looking for a man who tried to lure a 9-year-old girl to his car on Wednesday night.

Authorities said they responded to St. Joseph School around 6:45 p.m. for a report of a suspicious incident.

A 9-year-old girl was with teachers when a man in a dark-colored SUV called her name several times and told her to come to him, according to police.

Staff intervened and the man sped off, police said. The young girl wasn't hurt, and her family does not recognize the man or the car he was driving.

The driver is described as possibly being in his 20s with dark curly hair.

Police released two photos of the suspect vehicle, which can be seen above. They're asking for the public's help identifying it.
