LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A top aide of former Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives Lee Chatfield was convicted Thursday after pleading guilty to felony charges of embezzlement and tax fraud.
Anne Minard, 38, of Bath Township, was initially charged alongside her husband Robert Minard in December 2024, with both facing charges of embezzlement, tax fraud, three counts of false pretenses, conspiracy to conduct a criminal enterprise, and conducting a criminal enterprise.
Anne faced two additional counts of embezzlement and two additional counts of false pretenses. Robert faced an additional charge of false pretenses.
