Pharmacists forced to reveal drug-dispensing fees for private patients in detailed receipts

Price-conscious private patients will be able to “shop around” as pharmacists will soon have to provide a receipt setting out their drug-dispensing fee, which could range from €5 to €10 or more.
The receipt providing a breakdown of the costs when the patient buys the medicine will be necessary from the beginning of January.
