LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Our weather for now remains quiet as we are still under high pressure, but bigger changes are on the way as our cold front arrives this weekend.

If you have plans to get outdoors on this Friday, the weather looks nice to do so as we are looking at a mixture of sun and clouds.

Temperatures will warm nicely throughout the afternoon as we are back into the middle 80s, with a decent wind out of the southeast at 10-15 mph.
