OXON HILL, Md. — Police are working to determine what caused a crash that left a man dead early Sunday morning in Oxon Hill.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers were called to the 6300 block of Oxon Hill Road around 1 a.m. for a report of a collision involving two vehicles. When officers got to the scene, not far from the Riverside Plaza Apartments, they found that one of the drivers had died at the scene. The driver has only been identified as a man. An occupant of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
