JOHNSON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that left two people dead Saturday, Oct. 25, on westbound I-40 near mile marker 70.
The multi-vehicle crash involved a truck hauling cattle, according to ASP spokesperson Cindy Murphy. Traffic was diverted at Exit 74 onto U.S. Highway 64 as crews worked the scene.
The interstate reopened around 7 a.m. Sunday, Murphy confirmed.
