AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A woman was arrested on Sunday after a shooting on Sumac Drive in Augusta, according to officials.
Richmond County deputies say Nydreka Bryant, 34, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The shooting happened late Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of Sumac Drive.
According to an incident report, when deputies arrived on scene, Bryant told deputies she shot the victim.

Two people were killed and another was injured after an officer-involved shooting at a North Augusta gas station Sunday afternoon, officials say.
Deputies found the victim in the garage of the home with a gunshot wound to his left leg, according to the report.
