FOREST PARK — Crews from the Forest Park Public Works Department responded to a collapsed roadway at Longleaf Drive and Pine Creek Road Monday morning.

Officials from Clayton County were also onsite to address any necessary repairs.


Motorists are highly encouraged to use caution near the immediate area and follow all detour signage or traffic control measures, the city of Forest Park stated in a late morning email.

If there is a need for the road closure to be extended or if additional road closures are necessary, another public notice will be issued.
